This was THE Fall Fashion show at the Houston Galleria kicking off their "Fall Fabulous" season of high fashion. Truss arches and Plasma screens decorated the entrance to the 60' runway and created a high tech industrial image. Staged on the ice rink at Galleria I, the show celebrated the first year aniversary of The Houston Chronicle's GLOSS Magazine. The event, produced by Elias Events, ran for four days and included multiple stages, displays, live models and a luncheon for the Best Dressed Executives. The show was captured by multiple video cameras and a rush overnight edit put the show on plasma displays sponsored by Cadillac and located throughtout the mall. A Joan Rivers look-a-like interviewed guests and covered the events throughout the mall. Production challenges were working on an ice rink and the overhead skylight made it difficult to judge what the lighting would actually look like once the sun went down. Joan's coments? "Fabulous dahling. Simply Fabulous."
