We always loved those movie trailers. You know the ones with the great voice that begins with "In a world where..." So when challenged to create an award show for Waste Management we knew the BIG opening video had to be a movie trailer that was LARGE. Also the show represented 21 finalists from over the country who would "get" to go to Las Vegas to this banquet/show. Budget and time constrained us to travel to each location so we put together a "Finalist Kit" with a $ 12.00 Camera, instructions on which photos to take and a pre-addressed envelope to send the camera back to us for processing. From there we built the show and hired our good friend Curt Miller to be the opening magic act/entertainment and on-site video producer. To complete the show each "finalist" was shot on video with a short introduction such as "I'm ... and Here's my Shop" Add some overnight editing and it's magic!
